Below are the main non-tax items that our stores carry. The state of California frequently changes their tax laws so these may change at any time. On some of these, we require additional information.

1) Mobility Items - These include walkers, wheelchairs and scooters. A doctor's recommendation is required and we need to verify that the person needs a mobiilty aid in order not to charge sales tax. This category does not include non-mobile devices such as lift chairs and beds.

2) Orthopedic Devices - With a doctor's prescription, braces, compression hosiery and orthopedic devices are exempt from sales tax.

3) Ostomy products are exempt from sales tax.

4) Labor and delivery charges are exempt from sales tax.
